How to manage albums on the Google+ Photos

You can manage your albums on the Google+ Photos homepage.

Rename

1. Click on the photos homepage  in Google+.
2. Select Your albums on the left.
3. Click the album you’d like to rename.
4. Click on the album name to change, then press Enter.

Edit share settings

Here’s how to change the share settings of all your albums in one place:

1. Click on the photos homepage  in Google+.
2. Select Your albums on the left.
3. Click Change how your albums are shared to open the share settings editor.
4. Make your edits to the following settings:  Album visibility    Lock album      Hide location info
5. Click Save for changes to each album.
6. Click Done.

You can also see who has access to each of your albums and edit album visibility on an individual album, here’s how:

1. Click on the photos homepage  in Google+.
2. Select Your albums on the left.
3. Click on an album.
4. Below the album title, you’ll see the album’s visibility after “Visibile to:”. Click on the visibility to see and edit the list people who can see your album.
5. When you’re done, click Save.

If you change an album’s visibility to share with a more limited group, such as public to limited, all posts and comments related to that album will be deleted.

Delete

1. Click on the photos homepage  in Google+.
2. Select Your albums on the left.
3. Click the album you’d like to delete.
4. Click the Delete album button.

Be careful, if you delete an album here, the album and its photos will be permanently deleted from all Google products, including Picasa Web Albums, Blogger, and others. Deleted albums cannot be recovered.

Two Ways To Export Your Facebook Friends To Gmail

One advantage to export Facebook friends to Gmail is that you can manage them more easier, but Facebook doesn’t allow you to do that, for it wants to protect user privacy, which is bullshit.
Since you can view your friends’ email addresses, phone numbers, websites and any other information they share will you, to export the information is just an easier process than to write down them one by one, and what is more, it allows Yahoo to export your friends with their email addresses in deed.

1. Yahoo Mail

Facebook Friend Exporter is a Chrome browser extension, with which you can export names, email addresses, phone numbers and websites of your Facebook friends.
After installation, you will see an “Export friends!” button on your Facebook’s toolbar on the top, clicking the button, then you can follow the instruction and export your Facebook friends to Gmail directly, or you can download the CSV file and import it to your Gmail manually.
But every time you can only export about 30 friends and you have to change the Facebook language to English.
None of the above two methods is perfect, damn Facebook should offer an easier way for users to export their friends to Gmail as soon as possible.

Google + KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS (AKA HOTKEYS)

j: In the stream, you can click ‘j’ to navigate down to the next item
k: Navigate up.
@ or +: mention someone in a post
q: While on the Home tab, press twice the q letter on the keyboard to search and add people to your chat list.
Space Bar: Scroll down stream.

Enter: Hitting Enter when focused on a Post opens up the comment box.

Turn off Notifications on Google Plus

If you are receiving constant email and navbar notifications from Google Plus and find it intrusive, you can simply disable it. Here’s what you need to do.

• Go to your name at the top right and click on it.
• Choose ‘Account Settings’ in the dropdown menu.
• Click on Google+
• You will now see a page with tons of check-boxes. Read through this carefully and choose when you want to be notified and when you don’t want to be.

• Add Public plus if you want to add any circles or individuals
• Type each answer as a separate comment
• Once you are done with all the answers, click the down arrow icon next to the post and select Disable Comments
